YOUTH PROGRAMS
There are many students who need a group to be involved with where they will be taught Biblical truths and make positive, encouraging relationships that will last for eternity. James 1:22 Youth is a ministry that strives to fulfill this need.
James 1:22 Youth is an independent program designed for those students who do not attend church or whose church does not have a youth group outside of Sunday mornings. Our group is NOT intended to replace a church's youth program nor "take" students from a particular church.
James 1:22 Youth will include:
- Bible studies & gatherings at various locations.
- Special events to further relationships with God.
- Small group setting to share struggles and receive Godly advice and support.
BUS OUTREACH MINISTRY
What if James 1:22 Ministries purchased a bus? Can you imagine the ministry opportunities this would present? Working with Southview Christian Chruch and other churches, we could go to a community, hold programs for kids, while the adults fellowship together studying the truth of God's Word. Take the gospel message to people where they are at, instead of waiting them to come to a church building.
WE ARE RAISING FUNDS FOR THIS PURCHASE NOW. OUR GOAL IS $8,000.
HOUSE OF HOPE
Mary's House of Hope in Grandview, Missouri is a ministry focused on helping those who are homeless or those who struggle to stay housed.
With a stable living environment and support, our goal is to give individuals a stable living environment. At any one time the ministry can help 4-6 people.
All this is done through sharing the unconditional and grace-filled love of Jesus Christ. Local churches help support this ministry.
FIRST RESPONDER
CHAPLAINCY
What is Chaplaincy? It is best described by reading the mission statement of the Grandview Police & Fire Chaplains:
We exist to be an available source of ongoing pastoral support for first response personnel, staff, their families, and the community in times of crisis or need.
BRAINSTORMING FOR THE FUTURE
BOOK OF LOVE
Produce a small book that includes: Gospel of John, short devotionals, beautiful pictures, and personal testimonies to distribute to the community. A similiar book was produced by Hope Dies Last Ministry and was so impactful!
AFTER SCHOOL
BIBLE CLUB
Elementary schools in the South KC area will allow Bible clubs to be held after school. This would be an AMAZING opportunity to teach kids about God through a fun, interactive program!
